Welcome to Bunan to Murun art. My name is Katrina and I am a proud Wiradjuri woman. I’ve come from a line of very strong black women. My great-grandmother Lilly Clayton, my grandma Iris Clayton and my mother Narelle Urquhart.

I’ve been painting since I was very little with my mother. She has always encouraged me to practice and learn as much as I can about my culture and people so that I can educate others and tell our stories. I believe art is such a powerful way to educate people and to inspire others to do better.
